IAB Spain has published its 2017 Annual Social Networks Study, with the most recent data on the situation of social networks. How much ground has Instagram gained over Twitter? Do networks have a lot of influence when buying online?
Network trends
There are 19.2 million social network users in Spain (between 16 and 65 years old) and each one uses about 4.8 on average. If we do the math... it appears on many profiles and many influencers.
It is not very surprising that the profile that uses the least networks is that of men who are 44 years old on average, which is justified by the lack of interest and concern for privacy.

WhatsApp reigns in Spain, with a rating of 8.3, almost one point above Facebook. Users use it more than 5 hours a week, although surely everyone knows someone who raises the average.
But this year's trend has been Instagram. Thanks to its changes, half Telegram Number Data of its users have increased their visit frequency and many young Snapchat audiences have migrated to the application. Instagram is already used more than Twitter , which has a 13% abandonment rate.

The study also presents interesting information for companies, such as that 83% of Internet users follow brands through networks. Among the sectors with the most fans, entertainment, culture and media top the list.
Many users actively take advantage of networks. 53% usually search for information on a social network before making online purchases, especially on Facebook .
66% value the comments of other users positively, and 53% affirm that the comments influence a lot or a lot when deciding. However, only 39% make the comments.
