Work represents one of the fundamental human rights, since it provides individuals with tools that allow them to sustain themselves and develop fully. Likewise, as the National Human Rights Commission points out , it is an indispensable part of human dignity, since it supports other universal guarantees. However, as reported by the International Labor Organization (ILO) , in 2020 alone, 470 million people in the world suffered from job insecurity, one of the main causes of poverty. Faced with this panorama, the private sector cannot remain indifferent, so taking measures on how to care for employees is part of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). One way to do this is through certifications that evaluate important aspects that imply fair treatment and protect personnel. One of the most prominent instruments in this field is the SA8000 Standard , which contemplates nine social responsibility factors that guarantee a company's commitment to its employees.

In this sense, Clarios México —a global leader in energy storage solutions—as part of its efforts to be a high-impact company, decided to seek the aforementioned certification in its plant located in Celaya, Guanajuato, which it Israel Email List recently obtained. Forced or compulsory labor. Health and security. Freedom of association and right to collective bargaining. Discrimination. Disciplinary measures. Working hours. Remuneration.
