The current world situation presents enormous challenges for society in general, such as water management, food production and waste management. Therefore, younger generations are seeking to learn about sustainability and get involved in projects focused on social responsibility . With this, they will be able to carry out actions that help improve the quality of life on the planet from their professional lives. Let us remember that sustainability is the ability of a society to make conscious and responsible use of its resources, without depleting them or exceeding their renewal capacity, and without compromising access to them by future generations. This covers three key spheres: social, economic and environmental. Currently, having specialists in the subject and others is relevant, both for companies and for future professionals.

At Expok we had the opportunity to interview Solange Romero, activist and circular economy specialist at Walmart in Mexico and Central America, who completed a Bachelor's Degree Ghana Email List in Social Responsibility and Sustainability . She tells us how and where to learn about sustainability and about her academic and work career. Why learn about sustainability? Solange Romero, like many young people, is passionate about social issues and impact projects, one of the aspects of sustainability. In an interview, she narrates that the first time she volunteered was, during her adolescence, in the organization Unidos Somos Iguales , which supports people with disabilities. Her pleasure in participating in this was so much that she spent her free time in that place and invited her friends and family to get involved as well. "From then on I knew that I wanted to make my life something with purpose, with a cause.

Something that I was passionate about." Solange Romero, circular economy specialist at Walmart in Mexico and Central America. This led her to become interested in the Bachelor's Degree in Social Responsibility and Sustainability taught at the Anáhuac University . The academic institution is the only one with a Faculty of Social Responsibility and in such a career it is sought that the graduates: Identify socio-environmental problems in any area of government, business or civil society. Design projects and solutions with a deep and holistic vision that includes multidisciplinary work that is close to people and communities. This allowed Solange Romero, upon graduation, to be an active member of the Yepez Foundation —a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of the ecological balance and the protection of sea turtles.
