Today I'm telling you about an essential tool for anyone involved in communication .
More than a tool it is, in truth, a model, a model put on paper by Wilbur Schramm at the beginning of the twentieth century which does not give guidelines on how to communicate things, but illustrates and explains reality in order to become aware of it and act accordingly.
If you ignore the dynamics of this model, you will never be able to communicate at your best.
But first of all, who was Wilbur Schramm?

In conclusion
Who was Wilbur Schramm
“American scholar of mass communications who Specific Database played an important role in founding and shaping the discipline of communication studies.”
This is how Britannica defines Wilbur Schramm, as an American scholar of mass communication who played a fundamental role in forging the very discipline of communication studies.
Schramm created his model starting from another one that preceded him, called the "mathematical-information model" which was somewhat the point of reference of the time.
He examines it thoroughly and decides to integrate it.
An integration that is by no means an end in itself, but well considered.
Schramm studies the world of communication around him and understands how all existing communication models, including the mathematical-informational one, did not take into account the subjective dimension of communication at all , as well as the contextual and particular dimension of communication.
Understanding Schramm's Model is, therefore, imperative nowadays, because it helps us to fully understand what happens unconsciously every time we communicate, whether it is during a conference with hundreds of people sitting in the audience or on a romantic date w the two the people' in real life or online.
