How to install osCommerce with Fantastico

You will have to fill in a form with information such as in which directory you want the platform to be installed, if you want directly in the root directory then this field must be empty, the domain, if you have more, which protocol to use, the name database and shop settings such as shop name, owner name, shop address, administrator account details along with username, password and email. You can send the installation data to someone via e-mail.

Now Softaculous will automatically create both the database that it will link with the files and implicitly with the osCommerce platform, but also the platform files using the data you sent in the previous form.Another script that automatically installs php scripts, content Czech Republic Email List management platforms and more in a few clicks is Fantastico. Similar to Softaculous, it's also in cPanel, but it's not as popular. If you have both Softaculous and Fantastico installed, the latter should have a fixed icon next to the former.



Do the same search using the menu on the left, once you have entered Fantastico and you will find osCommerce. Click that you want a new installation and enter the required information such as the domain, the display of prices with taxes, requirements for customer registration such as: gender, name, address, date of birth and others. Press finish installation and you are ready. To protect the installation, you must press the button "Click here to protect the administration area" and you will be able to send an e-mail with the details of the installation.
